FAQs

What if I can’t take the full 10 days?

We’ve designed flexible options:

  • Full Journey (10 days / 9 nights)
  • Zimbabwe • Botswana • Zambia (6 days / 5 nights)
  • Cape Town Only (5 days / 4 nights)

This way, you can still experience Southern Africa even if you can’t commit to the full itinerary.

The trip officially begins on August 31 in Victoria Falls. Please make sure your flight arrives that day. Since traveling to Africa usually takes about a full day, we recommend leaving the U.S. on August 30 (unless you’d like to arrive earlier and enjoy Zimbabwe before the trip begins).

Flights are NOT included.

If you are starting your trip in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe please fly into Victoria Falls International Airport (VFA).

If you are ending your trip in Cape Town, South Africa please fly out of Cape Town International Airport (CPT).

Yes! On our booking site you have the option to create your own payment plan by authrozing different payment amounts. Please note your balance MUST be satisfied by the trip due date or all payments will be forfeited.

We love for our travelers to customize their own trips. With that, we offer add-ons for you to fill up your free time. Add-ons will incur additional fees. However, you could choose to relax during your free time!

Also, please note the items that are excluded from the trip. This will be an additional cost.

U.S. citizens need tourist visas for Zimbabwe and Zambia, which can typically be obtained on arrival. Botswana and South Africa currently allow U.S. passport holders to enter visa-free for short stays. We will provide detailed instructions closer to departure to make the process easy.

Absolutely! When checking out, you will select the single room option.

If your roommate cancels, your rate will adjusted to the single person rate.

Yes! Your passport must be valid for the entire length of your stay. We recommend that it has at least six months of validity remaining beyond your travel dates to avoid any issues with airlines or immigration. If your passport is expiring soon, be sure to renew it before booking your flight.

For the safety of travelers, we will release the name of the hotels and lodges once your booking is confirmed. Please note we only stay at 4+ star accomodations.

No, we don't offer travel insurance. However, it is highly recommended. It protects your trip investment in case of unexpected changes, delays, or emergencies.

No mandatory vaccinations are required for entry, but the CDC does recommend being up to date on routine vaccines. Depending on your route, the Yellow Fever vaccine may be required if you are coming from or transiting through a Yellow Fever risk country. Anti-malaria medication is strongly recommended for time spent in Zimbabwe, Botswana, and Zambia. Please consult your doctor or a travel health clinic to decide what’s best for you.
