Hey, it's Kyra - like Tyra Banks but with a “K.”

I'm your Travel Experience Curator, bringing you a unique way to "Travel in Style." My love for travel began at age 8 when my family and I moved to Japan, sparking a lifelong desire to explore. Since then, I've visited 25 countries by the age of 25. With a marketing degree from North Carolina A&T SU, I’ve developed my expertise in event planning and communications, allowing me to curate exciting travel experiences. I host group trips of up to 35 people to bucket-list locations. From second lines in New Orleans to swimming with sharks in Belize, and sunrise hot air balloon rides in Ibiza, I create unforgettable experiences and in just two years, I’ve guided over 100 people abroad and helped 15 African Americans obtain their first passport.

There are racial disparities in U.S. passport ownership, with only 34% of African Americans holding passports. However, Black U.S. leisure travelers spent a little over $100 billion in 2019, demonstrating our extensive spending power. (This statistic has likely increased, but there is limited available data).

As the travel industry focuses on other markets, we believe that we can boost the spending power within the African American community by offering access, education, and flexibility.

At Travel With Kyra, we create safe spaces for Black and Brown travelers, introducing them to new experiences and cultures while expanding their worldview: Our subbrands do this by:

1. Offering custom and group trip experiences

2. Blending travel with philanthropy during our Community Give-Back trips. It’s a core of who I am, which has inspired me to launch these trips. I do so by bringing small travel groups to countries in need of both physical and financial assistance

3. And with our stylish, comfortable, durable travel wear at TWK for the women on the go. At TWK, we believe in showing up looking your best—because when you look good, you feel good. We encourage our jetsetters to “Travel in Style,” as you never know who you’ll meet on your next adventure. From delayed check-ins to straight-from-the-airport moments, our travel wear is designed to ensure our jetsetters are always prepared.

In this fast-paced hustle culture, the average American receives 11 days off. When they do, we want to ensure those moments are filled with unforgettable memories, inspired by the quality of life from countries like Spain and Japan, where we will travel to next year. Will you join us?
